PhotoMeta ("the App") is developed and operated by an independent developer. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

  • Photos: All photo processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server.
  • EXIF Metadata: Camera information (brand, model, lens, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focal length, GPS coordinates, etc.) is read locally on your device to display in frames. This data is never transmitted off your device.
  • No Account Required: The App does not require registration or login. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers.

Analytics

The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics such as:

  • App open events and session duration
  • Device type, OS version, and screen resolution
  • Country/region (derived from IP, not stored)
  • App crash reports

This data is aggregated and anonymous — it cannot be used to identify you personally. Firebase Analytics is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Permissions

The App requests the following device permissions:

  • Photo Library Access: To select photos for framing and save exported images.
  • Camera Access (optional): To take photos directly within the App.

These permissions are used solely for the App's core functionality.

Third-Party Services

  • Firebase Analytics (Google) — anonymous usage statistics

No other third-party SDKs or ad networks are integrated.

Data Storage

All data (photos, settings, frame configurations) is stored locally on your device. We have no servers that store user data.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The App contains no ads, in-app purchases, or social features.
